Welcome to Seattle Community Theater

Seattle Community Theater was founded in 2024 by Sue Heale to bring community and amateur theater and events to the Greater Seattle and Eastside communities.

We are an all ages community theater group powered by volunteers.

Sue is a graduate of Theater Direction at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.  She has directed over 50 musicals and plays and has composed 5 full-length musicals and 11 one acts for children.

Our Story

Founded to provide theater education and performance opportunities, Seattle Community Theater performs one play and one musical per year.  We welcome actors of all ages and performance abilities.

We are supported by volunteers and grants, providing opportunities for children, teens and adults to build confidence, study acting and singing, and participate in fun events throughout the year.  Most of our events are currently occurring in Redmond but we welcome actors from around the Seattle and Greater Eastside Region.

We gratefully accept donations as a 501C nonprofit so look for us on Benevity.

Our Mission

Seattle Community Theater stives to provide theater education and performance opportunities to budding actors of all ages and abilities.
