SCT at Redmond Community Centers
Beginning in early 2026, SCT's team will be offering classes for budding actors at the Redmond Community Center and Redmond Senior Center. Led by Lexie Halle and Lisa Granat, these classes will bring theater education and acting opportunities to amateur actors ages 18-100 in the Redmond community.

Musical Theater 101-- an 8 week class focusing on basics of joining an amateur musical theater production. Script reading skills, acting skills, characterization and character development, physical acting skills and more. This class is designed for folks who have wanted to try amateur theater for the first time or for those who want to re-ignite a passion for theater. We are uncertain about dates yet but we will update the website as these classes are confirmed. Monday evenings for Adults and Wednesday afternoons for Seniors are the targeted timeframes.

Theater for Seniors-- an 8 week class for seniors at the Redmond Senior Center. This class will begin in March and be taught by SCT volunteer teachers.

Seattle Opportunities!
Our theater group is growing rapidly so in 2026, we'll be launching a Seattle group. Facilitated by frequent SCT participant who live in Seattle, we are seeking actors, musicians, and crew who would like to help us start a Seattle group of our nonprofit. We'll need to find rehearsal space, launch some fundraising, and engage with performance venues. We are currently pursuing an offer to be one of University Heights' 2026 theater groups
