Available spots
Service Description
Acting for Comedy and Improv, taught by Joel Sampaio and Mike Blanding. Max 15 participants. This 8 week class develops skills of spontaneity, creativity and ability to act in the moment. We'll do games and activities to promote fast paced adaptation on the stage, perfect for those interested in comedy, improv and stage acting. Each student will write and perform a 10 minute comedy routine. We'll also practice physical acting skills and spend some time studying silent films, which featured the masters of physical acting at a time when sound wasn't available. No experience necessary but must be willing to take risks and go out of your comfort zone.
